Two to four weeks of lead time is comfortable for a documentary field shoot. Sensitive contributors typically require longer.
- Can fixer work take place outside Seoul?
Yes. Field work is routinely coordinated across Korean cities and regions.
- Can you help identify contributors?
Yes. We research candidate contributors against the story brief and confirm interest and availability before the shoot.
- Is translation included?
Yes. On-the-ground interpretation is part of the field-lead role. Formal translation, transcription and subtitling are scoped separately.
- Can transport be coordinated?
Yes. Ground transport and unbranded production vehicles are coordinated according to the schedule.
- Can camera and sound crew be added?
Yes. Local crew is added when the visiting team is small or when regions require additional support.
- Can access be guaranteed?
No. Access to sensitive or restricted subjects and locations is coordinated in good faith and confirmed contributor by contributor. We do not offer legal or regulatory guarantees.
- What information is needed before outreach begins?
A short story summary, the shoot window, any sensitive subjects and the languages that will be needed on the ground.
